Assalamualaikum,

Hey there,

Ever felt like your mind is a maze, filled with thoughts that just won't clear up? I've been there too. Life throws a bunch of stuff at us, and it can get overwhelming. Let me share some easy ways I deal with these thoughts, hoping it might make life a bit simpler.

Writing it Down: Get Your Thoughts on a Paper.

Ever tried jotting down what's in your head? It's like a brain dump, and it can really help clear things up. I created this blog as my mind dumping site. I type and delete, finding it satisfying. Like the slogan: GO DIGITAL!

Sorting Stuff Out: Break it Down into Simple Bits

After dumping everything on a paper, it's time to sort things out. Divide your thoughts into categories. What needs attention right away? What can wait? It's like making a to-do list for your mind.

Talk to Someone: Share the Load

Don't carry it all by yourself. Find a friend or family member and just chat. Sometimes, saying things out loud can make everything feel less heavy. That's my advice for you. But being me, I prefer keeping my thoughts to myself. My head and heart are 2 different entities, so writing is like a bridge. I don't want to burden people with things only in my head. I'm my biggest critic.

Take a Moment: Breathe and Relax

Try deep breathing or take a moment for yourself. It can help calm your mind and make everything seem a bit clearer. I do this a lot, especially when my heart aches. I'll pause, recite istighfar, and remind myself to breathe.

Make a Simple List: Break it Down Even More

When hit with an unexpected curveball, it hurts. Impossible to shake off the feeling right away. Maybe you can, but I can't. I act like I'm fine. I've learned to move forward and not look back. Life won't wait for you. Live day-to-day. Small moves, small wins. Put together a simple to-do list. Smile even if it hurts.

Set Some Rules: Give Your Mind a Break

Tell your mind when it's time to think and when it's time to chill. It's like creating rules for your thoughts. Think of things that can be achieved. Not the near future. Just enough to make you survive today. Tomorrow is another chapter. If you live, you can remake your life. There will be better days.

Move Around: Get Your Body Moving

Drag yourself out of bed. Walk to the toilet, wash your face. Perform ablution. Sujud and cry in your sujud. Breathe; when the universe is against you, Allah is there for you.

Talk to a Pro: Get Some Expert Advice

If things still feel too much, get help. It's okay to be defeated.

When you fall into depression, only you can define your exit. You hold the power over yourself. Have faith, never lose hope in Allah's blessings.

Take it easy on yourself,
